Das Buch ist grafisch gut aufgebaut und verständlich. Meines Erachtens ist aber der Titel "..in depth" doch vollkommen verfehlt, weil etliche wichtige neue Dinge in FileMaker 12 gar nicht erwähnt werden.Ein bisschen mehr Sorgfalt hätte das Buch noch sehr viel nützlicher gemacht.
Das Buch ist für alle, die sich intensiver mit FileMaker auseinandersetzen wollen ein umbedingtes Muss. Es zeigt alle wichtigen Aspekte auf.
Hier nur eine kurze Anmerkung zum Kindle Format: Bilder werden immer auf einer gesonderten Seite angezeigt. Das schliesst leider auch einfache grafische Symbole ein, wie z.B. Das Symbol für einen Tip. Eine Seite mit Text, einer Abbbildung und einem Tip werden also auf 4 Seiten angezeigt (Text, Abbildung, Symbol für Tip und Text des Tips). Da ich das Buch bereits als unlesbar zurückgegeben habe (Danke für den Amazon Service) kann ich nicht genau sagen, ob nicht sogar eine extra Seite für den Abbildungstitel eingefügt wird. Insgesamt praktisch unlesbar.
